Game 6 Tonight

The Red Wings could win the Stanley Cup tonight in Pittsburgh. It is hockey so anything can happen, but I think the Wings win in a close 1-0 or 2-1 game. The city of Detroit needs some positives right now, and the Red Wings could provide a morale boost with a Stanley Cup. I wish game 6 was in Detroit, so they could win it at The Joe in front of all their fans.

Our Spartan on the Wings, Justin Abdelkader has been a great story with a goal in each of the first two games of the Stanley Cup finals. He has been replaced in the lineup by some veterans the last few games, but he has been a large part of Detroit's success. I read a great article about him on msuspartans.com. I'm glad to see that he is as good of a person as he is a hockey player. This is the kind of professional that young hockey players should look up to and want to be like for what he does both on and off the ice.
