Notre Dame 5 Michigan State 2

The Spartans lost to the Fighting Irish in a tough road game. MSU was up 2-0 in the second period, but Notre Dame chipped away and eventually took the lead for good. Freshman Dean Chelios and sophomore Brett Perlini scored the two Spartan goals, while Trevor Nill had the two primary assists. Drew Palmisano made 34 saves in the loss.
