Scouting the Lakers

Michigan State will host Lake Superior State this weekend in two games. Friday's game will take place at 7:35 p.m. and Saturday's game is at 5:05 p.m. Michigan State comes into the game at #9 in both national polls, while the Lakers are unranked. LSSU is 12-7-3 overall and 7-6-1 in the conference. They swept Robert Morris in their last two games and they have won their last six. Lake St. swept a good Northern Michigan team that the Spartans split with. Rick Schofield and Zac MacVoy lead the team with 19 points apiece. Mahoney-Wilson is their goaltender with a 2.58 GAA. The Spartans can expect a tough series with a team that is 6-3-1 in road games.
